AROUND CUA DAI
A beach visit.
A meal at NiA.
A simple outing plan from NiA restaurant & cocktail bar, for visitors spending time on Hoi An’s coast.
A beach outing works best when the practical details are easy: where to go, how to get back, and where to eat afterward. This guide pairs time at Cua Dai Beach with a meal at our restaurant on Au Co. You can also turn the plan around and eat before heading to the coast.
1. Choose your beach stop
Cua Dai is one of Hoi An’s coastal areas. Vietnam’s national tourism website identifies it as an area with many resorts and suggests mornings or late afternoons for beach visits, away from the strongest midday sun.
Ask your accommodation about the suitable public access point and conditions that day. Check weather and local notices before setting off; a beach visit does not have to include swimming.
2. Keep the route flexible
Save your accommodation’s location and the NiA restaurant pin on your phone before leaving. Use live directions from where you actually are. Beach access points vary, so a single walking time from “Cua Dai Beach” would not be useful for everyone.
If you are already near NiA at lunchtime, you can eat first and head toward the beach later. If you start at the beach, check our opening hours before making the restaurant your next stop.
3. Choose your meal
For noodles, look at Bo Bun with beef, vegetables, a fried spring roll and peanuts. If you prefer rice, Com Chien Tom is shrimp fried rice. Burger du Chef and Parmentier are two choices on the French side of the menu.

If you want to arrive with a group or have dietary requirements, contact the restaurant first. A message requesting a table becomes a confirmed booking only after the team replies and agrees the details.
If you also want to see Hoi An Ancient Town
Treat the old town as a separate stop and plan transport between it and the coast. Vietnam Tourism recommends walking through the historic streets and visiting landmarks such as the Japanese Covered Bridge. Check current access and ticket arrangements through official information when planning that part of your day.
For a relaxed plan, choose the beach and a meal, or the old town and a meal. You do not need to squeeze every attraction into one outing.
